报告摘要： We will discuss the incompressible limit of compressible viscoelastic systems when the shear viscosity converges to zero. The incompressible limit is characterised by the large value of the volume viscosity. In the limit, the dispersive effect of pressure waves disappears and the global convergence to the limit system around an equilibrium is justified with the help of vector fields.

报告人简介：  胡先鹏副教授，香港城市大学数学系，研究方向为流体力学中的偏微分方程理论。博士就读于美国匹兹堡大学（University of Pittsburgh）。2010年至2013年在 Courant Institute 从事博士后研究。曾获得美国国家自然科学基金资助。2014年起在香港城市大学工作至今，获多项科研项目资助，并于2021年获香港研资局研究学者计划资助，在CPAM、CMP、ARMA等权威期刊发表论文多篇。
